Brownie was rescued by along with his family from a horrific hoarding situation in Pennsylvania. He was one of many newborns, and the mommas were all so starved that the babies were nursing from any mother who had a little milk to share. He was one of many rescued by Lancaster Farm Sanctuary, before being transferred into our care.
Living in such an environment at such a young age, Brownie undeniably suffered immense trauma. Out of the babies that we rescued from this situation, Brownie remains the least trusting of us humans here at IFS, but he has made baby steps in the right direction. He is inquisitive of his surroundings and social with his goat friends, bouncing off of the playground and frolicking with them in the pasture. Most importantly, Brownie, his momma Zoey, and the rest of his family are safe and know love here at their forever home.
