In the summer of 2019, an incredible friend of IFS was doing undercover work in the Midwest and came across Fiona and Beth at a slaughterhouse. They were among the dead and dying animals at just a few days old. After their mothers were slaughtered, they were left to starve. Our courageous friend liberated these two impossibly sweet girls and transported them to IFS. To this day, Fiona and Beth are attached at the hip, but they have also made friends with many of the other adult goat residents who spend their days with the big herd.
