Soon after the story of Phill the water buffalo came to light, we learned that Phill had two companions who remained on the property he escaped from--one of which was Jane. We made a promise to do everything we could to secure their freedom as well. Fortunately, the original owner ended up surrendering them into our care and the three have been reunited!

Jane is shy and reserved, but she is coming out of her shell more each day. One distinct feature of hers is that Jane's tail appears to have been docked, unlike the boys. We imagine Jane has some trauma she carries with her, evident by her facial tension and lack of trust in humans upon arrival. She has the prettiest eyes and charming fluffy ears.
