After losing our baby Tay back in December 2023, our hearts have never been able to fully recover. 8 months later, an opportunity to bring Tay’s mom into sanctuary became a surreal reality. Having spent her entire life at the same dairy where Tay was born, May's sole purpose was to birth babies so she could produce milk for human consumption.

May now has a forever home--free of exploitation. She has a name, not a number. She has freedom, grass, safety, and love. There simply isn’t a better way to honor Tay, and we are so honored to care for May for the duration of her beautiful, meaningful life.
