The “Unsinkable” Molly Brown had quite the journey before landing in our care. At just 21 days old, Molly was loaded onto a massive semi trailer with hundreds of other piglets and taken to a facility to be fattened up to be killed for food. While the other piglets were pushed off the truck at the facility, Molly hid and went unnoticed. The trailer left the facility and headed to a truck wash to clean out all the excrement. The truck was flooded with water while Molly was hidden inside! When the truck was being drained, Molly floated by and was discovered, nearly drowned, by an employee. This human made sure that Molly never had to fear for her life again when he contacted IFS. Today, Molly is an incredibly friendly pig who absolutely loves belly scratches.
