In Need of a Sponsor

Peanut was born on a local farm with a condition called microphthalmia--essentially he has no working eyes and is completely blind. He was also thought to have been born prematurely. Peanut’s mom wasn’t producing much milk, so Peanut’s caretakers reached out to us and asked if we could welcome him to IFS. We happily agreed and brought him home. Peanut is thriving at the sanctuary and learning to explore his world with his other senses. He has the most beautiful long eyebrows and the softest red coat of hair. We are looking forward to providing him with a lifetime of love, safety, and happiness!
