Peter

Irresistibly adorable Peter was fortunate enough to be born into sanctuary life, but things could’ve happened much differently. Peter’s Mom, Jaqueline, and his “aunt” Jill were rescued from a horrendous neglect case in Washington County, IA in November 2022. Just over two months later, Jaqueline gave birth to Peter (and his twin sister, Mary!) here at IFS—and he never knew anything but love, freedom, and unlimited happiness. Peter was sweet, playful, and curious about his big new world. We will miss him dearly.
