Watchful, curious Jaqueline was rescued with her friend Jill from a horrific neglect case in Washington County, IA in November of 2022. Upon arrival at IFS Jaqueline was incredibly standoffish and mistrusting of humans - and rightfully so.

At her vet check, an ultrasound revealed that Jaq was pregnant with twin lambs! Over the next few months, we slowly earned Jaq’s friendship - and what a treasure that was. Jaq gave birth to two healthy babies named Peter and Mary, and their family bond is incredibly special. Jaq has very strong maternal instincts and is a great momma (and aunt to Tristan!)
