Bennie is always a visitor fave! Since living in our house for the first couple months of his life, he became very domesticated and will follow you anywhere. Bennie came to IFS at just a week old, umbilical cord still attached. He was a runt and the farmer did not have the time to bottle feed him, so he was going to be sent to the livestock auction. Instead, the farmer made the compassionate decision to surrender Bennie to Iowa Farm Sanctuary. Bennie was so tiny and malnourished when we got him, we didn't broadcast his arrival in fear of his death. After just a few days of bottle feeding, Bennie came around and became the spunky boy we all know him to be now. Not only is Bennie a hit with people, but ALL of our other rescued residents love him as well... the pigs will even let him eat with them!
