Pablo was born right here at Iowa Farm Sanctuary on March 11th, 2021 at 6:13PM. He was the first individual to ever be born at IFS, and it was the most beautiful moment we’ve ever witnessed. Because he was born at our sanctuary, Pablo will never know anything but love, kindness, and freedom. 

Before her rescue, Pablo’s momma, Olive, was listed on craigslist to be slaughtered due to a minor and easily treatable medical ailment. The farmer knew she was pregnant but didn’t even care. Thankfully, we were able to secure her freedom and save tiny unborn Pablo’s life as well. 

We can’t even describe how beautiful it is to watch Pablo and Olive together. Every single one of Pablo’s needs are met because he has his momma. He’s grown up to be a confident, curious, and mischievous young man! Pablo may be all grown up now, but he still prefers to stay near his mom. He’ll always be a momma’s boy, and we love that about him!
