Elphaba’s journey to Iowa Farm Sanctuary is nothing short of remarkable. She was released into our care after surviving a terrifying ordeal — first buried under a heavy pile of hay and then trapped beneath nearly a foot of snow. Against all odds, this resilient little gal refused to give up. Since arriving at IFS, Elphaba has made an incredible recovery, regaining her ability to walk and embracing her new life with determination and spirit.
