Pickle is an itty bitty Nigerian dwarf goat with a gigantic spirit! This tiny little gal was born with rear limb paresis, and the farmer wanted her gone. Pickle was only a few days old when she joined the IFS family, and she was small enough to be confused with a kitten!

Since welcoming baby Pickle into the IFS family in January 2021, she’s made incredible progress! Originally, Pickle’s rear leg weakness caused her to slip and splay like Bambi when walking, but she’s gained so much muscle tone that this happens far less frequently now. 

Tiny little Pickle can even jump up on the furniture in the farmhouse and run at fast speeds. Watching her discover the world and her abilities is such a joy. Pickle loves to drink her bottle, snuggle with her human caregivers, and chase the kitties around the farmhouse. It’s impossible to be anything but happy in her perfect, precious presence.
